How does the front Goucho turn into bed

Have 62 overlander with the original goucho. Tried to figure out how to turn goucho into bed. I see it unfolds in half and there is a large piece of wood supporting the back side. I know the arm rest are original, but not real sure what supports the foot of the bed. Also is the some kind of manual for 63 that tells how to setup beds, tv antenna, and odd ball stuff, do have packet for appliances that are original too.

Unfortunately owner's manuals didn't occur until 1964, and then very primitive affairs. The couch converts by simply sl;iding the base out toward the back of the coach, and lowering the back until it is level, then pushing the whoile works back in until it is flush in the back. When you put it back up, you will have to manually lift the back of the back with your hands, and push in the bottom part with your knees until it is back in position.
