How do I attach framework to walls?

I am not so much concerned about what I want as to how I want to attach wood to the walls. If I want to build a gaucho (and I'm using "I" very loosely) how does it become stable?

On mine they just ran the screw into the walls...just make sure they are short enough to NOT penetrate the outside skins. In some cases they did rivet an aluminum angle to the wall, and in some cases they even hit ribs. Then fastened the wood to the angle.

Thanks for the information. I'm always leary about screwing anything into the walls but it makes sense especially after I removed a panel and saw the numerous ones left by the po.
