Hangers come off when driving and clothes on floor
Hangers don't stay on. Bought some others, but they don't go around rod. Any suggestions of other hangers or way to keep clothes hanging in closet? Have a 22 ft. Bambi sport that bucks a bit rough roads and hangers pop off.

Better roads or slower speeds. I can't imagine the Airstream will take this beating for long.

Huggable Hangers - Joy Mangano
Joy Mangano Huggable Hangers for Kids - 36-pack Chrome at HSN.com
Get the ones for either shirt or pants - more versatile, and you can hang a whole outfit. Underwear on outside, shirt & pants or skirt underneath.
The clothes really stay on the hanger.

I added a ring on each end of the rod; one on top and the other on the bottom. Basically a 3/4" ring with a folded aluminum tab that used an existing rod mounting screw. Then, using 1/8" bungee cord, made a length with dual plastic hooks which stretches between the eyes. It works perfectly to keep hangers in place, even on washboard dirt roads in less traveled places.

Hi, I bought these very thick white plastic hangers for our trailer. They are light compared to the wooden hangers that we use at home. We have never had any problems of them falling.

Sounds like there is a suspension issue perhaps aggravated by a stiff spring TV or the WD springs are too stiff for the unit.

I posted on this topic before. I have a 2008 28' Safari. The hanging clothes were usually falling off onto the floor of the closet. I turned the hangers backwards. That is I bring the hanger under the bar and hang from the back of the closet forward. This works 100%.

We often have hangars jump off the rails, but then our wardrobes are right at the back of the unit, almost on the rear bumper; any pitching motion is at its worst right there. Doug's right, keeping the speed down helps as does avoiding the worst of the bumps in the road, which is nigh on impossible a lot of the time - I can usually tell the bumps that with get the hangars jumping and most of them are in Michigan! I suspect I could dampen the effects by carrying a full tank fresh water but it's no big issue, especially as we don't any other problems with stuff shifting when we're on the move; even the glass (plastic) sliding doors on the overhead storage stay closed.

I second what Protagonist said. We have those and they work 100 percent.
