Hi, here are a few pictures of how I remodeled my living room. Pictures are: two original, one in process, and two after remodel.

Robert.

That looks outstanding. Beautiful work all around and I love how you have tucked some items against the bulkhead.

We just go home from a weekend trip so I now have some impressions on our current layout. While it will work for now, if we still have this particular A/S in about 2 or 3 years (and we plan to) we will have to adapt the floor plan, due to growing kids...

We found the dogs preferred to lay just under the A/C in the bedroom during the day and in the galley at night. When the cot is put up for the night, it has to be pushed directly against the gaucho in couch mode. This leaves just enough room for us to get in and out the door. Not ideal, but ok until we figure out how to save as much floor space will still giving us the sleeping area needed.

From gaucho to dinette for us

We went from a gaucho in our 69 27' Overlander to a dinette in our 68 28' Ambassador.....we had more room in the Ambassador to make the dinette work.....it converts to a double bed if you drop the table but the bench is long enough and wide enough for kids (and short adults) to sleep as is.

5 can eat with the addition of a chair at the end. We don't have any dead space in the corners.......we love our dinette!!!!
