Gaucho Sliders

The white nylon/plastic pieces on the end of the aluminum slider on my gaucho need to be repaired or replaced. Inland and Vintage doesn't have the parts. I am thinking about doing my own repair by attaching some pieces of something to the side of the aluminum somehow to recreate the original dimension. Anybody have any better ideas?

replace it with a futon. front loader, meaning you don't have to lift from the side to convert from a bed to sofa.

Gaucho repair needed

Looks like you know quite a lot how to repair a gaucho. Both of ours are not functioning properly. Is there a service manual on the gauchos? We have a 1978 Safari.
