For women only – make-up mirror solution

With over-50 eyes, putting on make-up has become a challenge. At home, a nice wall-mounted, optically correct, make-up mirror solves the problem. However, we’re on a 12-week, 5,000-mile road trip in our 25’ 2003 Classic, and I needed to find a solution for our extended travel.

It turns out the manufacturer of my mirror at home has a travel option. It is 4 inches in diameter (there’s also a 6-inch option), and is optically correct with 5X magnification. Attached to the bathroom mirror with adhesive, the base stays in its corner full-time. The flexible arm and the mirror itself screw in quickly for use each morning. A longer extension arm is also available.

Here’s the website: Big Eyes Mirrors *** - Optically Correct Magic Focus Magnifying Mirrors and here’s the product information and photo: SO400 – Magic Focus® "Big Eyes" Stick-On Vanity Mirror ($25).

And here’s what it looks like in our “home away from home,” with and without the mirror and arm attached.

That's great! Thanks for sharing your find! It's always nice to find an easy solution to an issue.

I have one of those stick on 8 inch models. It only fell off once uring the accident. Did not even break.
