Thanks so much for the help everyone. One of the challenges I am having with this sight is that there is so much information! I spend hours reading threads and start to come to a conclusion about what I am going to do and then someone comes along and suggests something else and I end up starting all over. I would love a general consensus (good luck with this request, right):

Prodex or a Rigid foam insulation board like Rmax from home depot?

And if the board, what thickness? And does it need an air gap like a prodex style does?

Thanks so much. (Maybe I will start this under a new thread. I am new to this site and not sure which option will get the best traction.

Reviving old threads alerts the contributors that their input is again requested, is how I see it.

A new thread with specific questions not previously answered -- with links to old threads -- is a way of exploring the breadth and depth of the question. But if it isn't new, a thread can add to clutter.

Pointing to specific posts from old threads with links can be a very good approach. Keeps readers from having to slog they some long threads.

Take your time in setting up a thread, is my advice.

Good Prodex Article

Found a pretty good RV restoration article that breaks down the benefits of using Prodex. Good R value + vapor barrier + sound barrier + no rodents + easy install. Seems like a no brainer given these advantages.

Thanks guys,
even though it seems like everyone has a different opinion, it all helps!
Here is a link to the thread I started.
