Floor Plan Design Tool ?

I was wondering if anybody had come accross some kind of floor plan design software (for free)?

I was thinink of something that let you set a grid for scale, then maybe a drag and drop for common elements such as stove, sink, furnace, etc.

Seems to me I am not the first fellow that has wanted to play with various floor plan options.

Try Sketch-Up...it's 3-D, free and pretty intuitive. There's also a whole library of components at 3-D warehouse.

NorCal Bambi (Don) created a thread devoted to using Sketch-up. A whole instructional series.

He really put a lot of work into it.

Yes, and since your trailer is pretty similar to mine, you may find my publicly shared airstream model helpful. It is very basic in regards to shell curvature precision, but extremely accurate in floor, height, window dimensions. You can find it in the sketch-up model warehouse by searching Airstream.
