Floor Demo

6 hrs for 2 people. 98 degrees!!!
The gauchos are both out. The old floor tiles are out.
The biggest problem was that lots of the "vintage" screws
were badly rusted and some with stripped heads. Some
we drilled out. A few we had to saw off with a hacksaw.
No rotten wood. The floor should be done by next
weekend. Hoping anyway...

Oh it looks interesting. I'm getting ready to do the same project but I know there's a soft spot. What kind of flooring are you putting in?

I'm so excited that I had no rot. I don't think it's too hard to fix though. The floor is not completely level. It pokes up at the joints of the plywood. Anyway we are getting Armstrong linoleum
which is all in one sheet. It's a gray-blue color which is really
nice. It's getting installed this week. Can't wait.
