Favorite Antique/Vintage Item for your 50s/60s Airstream

We recently purchased a 1958 Overlander and we are already buying fabrics, flooring, and antiques to decorate it. We already own a cool art deco clock which we'll be putting in the Overlander and now were looking for an antique radio to place in the front above the goucho.

Would love to see what others have put in their vintage Airstreams.

Wow, nobody has posted anything here? Well, let me get started. This is what I'm looking to buy for my '58. I've also bought a few small vintage signs for the kitchen and a vintage Coke Bottle opener.

We bought a '71 Buick convertible for our Trade Wind......no, correction, we had the convertible and bought the TW to go behind it. I did get a vintage scare light that plugs directly into the receptible up the side on the curb side. Now where did I file that picture......

Ours aren't 50's/60's vintage but we picked up this vintage flamingo pink drink cooler for our 70's era ones.

I read somewhere that toasters came out in the latter 1950s and they cost around $230 dollars back then.

I really like these

At the risk of causing a price rise...so far I have had great luck with my purchases...Then again, maybe nobody else will like them.
I really like old cut glass bud vases, from old classic autos, in my Airstreams. First of all I like the look and then I like flowers. Sorry no pictures yet. I was lucky and got matching metal bud vases for the 47 Curtis.

Love the toaster. The old 1950s toasters are very Airstreamish.

I wanted to pick one up an antique store, but the Mrs doesn't want to go vintage for a toaster. She wants a new, stainless steel one.

Forgot about my multi-holder, but I don't like where it's mounted. It's presently mounted at waist height on the side of the kitchen counter. I'll need to move mine where Jezibel has hers.

While not technically in the Airstream... my favorite vintage accessory will be strapped to the tow vehicle during our future travels;
a 1949 "double planked" canoe from the Willits brothers of Tacoma, WA.

My favorite (ebay) find is an aluminum electric "dealie" that has a hot plate on top to either brew an old style pot of coffee (haven't tried yet) or maybe just keep the pot warm, and just below is a "drawer" to toast one slice of bread. Still has the original fabric covered wire!!

Also, I'm having a local shop electrify my Humphrey gas light! I think it'll be much more usable on a day to day basis, and still be cute.

It is so exciting to find out what others are doing with their trailers. I have been collecting vintage accessories for years.

I am looking for a pink or aqua radio for my '67. I have a small wooden one for my '53.
