Fantastic Vent Interior Cover

Has anyone come up with a means of placing a cover over the interior opening of the fantastic vent when it is not being used to block the sun light shinning in. I have thought about cutting some thin material, wood or plastic the size if the outside trim and then painting it to match the ceiling cover. I guess Velcro could be used to hold it in place. Any other suggestions. Thanks

We had the same problem on our AS Motorhome and purchased a miniature evenshade which was attached to one side and a hook on the other side which you could hook and un-hook at will.--About 10 minutes to install. I think it was made by by Camco. Made to fit 14" openings

Those vents would look so cool with built in blue LED lights. Does anyone make a kit for them?

Camco Mfg. Name of product is "Lights Out Shade" made by Camco-------see above website. Probably bought from Camper World but can't remember. Camco products are readily available from any RV Supplier. Good luck

I found them at PPL RV parts in Houston and bought 2. They should work perfect. I will put them up tomorrow.

Thanks
