Extrusion Inserts - Fast and Easy

Let's face it...vintage trailers present with similar challenges. While replacing the bath in the kids "74" Tradewind most all of the extrusion inserts were dry, discolored, brittle and broken. I suppose replacements can be found online; however, one fast and easy solution is to pick up vinyl hanging blind replacements at one of the box stores. The blinds are made of vinyl and can be cut to size very easily...they can also be painted for a unique look. You will find stickum tape on the extrusion once the insert is pealed off. This does not need to be removed...save yourself some time. Cut vinyl to size and insert into the extrusion. Good luck!
