Thumbs up Everything in the 1976 Caravanner works!

I am amazed! Everything in the caravanner works! The a/c is wonderful! It cools faster than some of our newer trailers we've had! It is really dirty but it is all coming off with 409 and a lot of wet rags.
The covers for the lights are brown with humidity. How can I get them cleaner? I will try laying them in a tub with Clorox. Has anyone spray painted them? We thought that then the light would not come through! Any ideas would be appreciated!

If 409 and Clorox doesn't do the trick try moving up to a scotch bright in a corner where it's not noticable from the back and see if it lightens it. You are basicly sanding it so be easy about it. If it doesn't lighten then the lens has discolored through the material and the only fix is replacement. is probably you best bet. Andy has a lot of older stock.

If it does lighten up then find a plastic polish (Ace and auto stores would be a good bet) and have at it.

You have a special Airstream!

I believe those lens covers are still available. Check with your Airstream dealer or Inland RV.
