End cap repair

I see a lot on repainting and cleaning end caps, but I'm missing comments on repair. Have small cracks that I don't want to propagate through use. I stop drilled them, but would like to use some adhesive to neatly seal the crack. Any suggestions or should I leave it well enough alone? Thanks.

I had good results using fiberglass and matting from the back side on my front cap. It has been over two years now and only 1 tiny crack reappeared.
The obvious problem is the R&R of the cap.
Leave well enough alone...

Thanks, I prefer to leave it in place for obvious reasons and not "tear out" the rivet holes. In the airplane business we would would stop drill and leave alone for similar parts. Think that is my preferred route unless some light comes on through the board. If I took it off bonding from the reverse side makes sense.
