We have a matching pair of these chairs. They fold into an 18"X16"X6" package, yet unfold and lock into a very sturdy, normal sized chair. Years ago, they were sold at A/S dealerships, but A/S claims that they never included them std (or as an option) from the factory. I do know that as a kid in the mid-late 60's, virtually every A/S seemed to have at least one of these chairs.

BTW, these chairs do show up periodically on eBay. Leg-O-Matic (no longer is business), made many variations on the chair thru difference seat coverings as well as different backs (cane, lyre, solid, etc). These also make great extra chairs for around the house when there is lots of company.

hmmm. I've got six, all alike. But they don't look ike this one!
I thought someone with a 69 might be interested, as that was the year issued, and the special tags on the bottom.
