I'm considering a 24' or 26' Airstream or Argosy. Many of them have the single bed on one side and cabinetry/storage directly across from it. However, I would prefer to remove the cabinetry and put in a bed so there are two twin beds in the back. Has anyone done this? Just want to be sure it's as simple as unscrewing them from the walls, no surprises.
Welcome. What year AS are you considering? Also, most of your plumbing is normally routed behind the cabinetry. But if you remove cabinets and replace with a bed, you should still be good with utilities running behind the bed. Whatever the year, removing cabinets will show rivet holes and other cosmetic blemishes that can be addressed. Good luck, Bubba
