We are thinking of replacing the couch (located in front) of our 2001 25 foot safari. There is currently a 73 inch flex steel Jackknife sofa with the separate arms that fit over storage bins. We might change to a 66 inch flex steel easy bed with a small end table at either end. Was wondering if anyone has thoughts about the aesthetics, comfort etc. Would love to see pictures if anyone has done something similar. Thanks.
John
John,
Can you give us a link to a vendor for the 66 inch unit you mention? Sounds interesting.

John, If you decide to go that route please provide an update with photos when you're done. I'm very interested to see how it turns out. I have the same year and model Safari as you (70th Anniversary Model). Here's a photo of mine with the original sofa and storage bins you mentioned at each end of the sofa (I have a nice removable denim cover on my sofa to protect it from wear and tear). Also notice the curtains. I just installed these from JPA last weekend.
