Copper end cap?

Hello All!

I'm in the planning phase of a complete remodel on our 77 sovereign. This will be a first for us but luckily I have years of experience with custom home remodels on my side.
After collecting quite the scrap book I'm very drawn to the warm copper endcap detail on the interior of the "Orvis Airstream". My first thought as an electrician is that Copper and aluminum are on the opposite ends of the reactance spectrum, so they definitely do not mix and will corrode in short order.
I've considered everything from a faux copper finish to insulating the materials with spray-on undercoating, but I get stuck at the rivets needing to be of one or the other material.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

I've been considering copper in my Classic, but have been searching g real time results from someone who did this!
I have a few copper pop rivets installed in various places.... 4 years and no issues yet!

You're not wrong... Dis-similar metal corrosion can be bad! Can you coat your rivets with some sort of clear before installing them? It'll probably wear off as you travel and the trailer moves, but it's a thought. For the panels, a thin layer of Sikaflex between copper and aluminum will act as a vapour barrier and also keep the metals apart.
