Cheap and easy spray foam
So I ran all the numbers and order 600 board ft of tiger foam spray insulation. ($700) it should have been enough to do a whole 28 ft camper! It was not! I did about about 1/3 of the camper. Won't buy the two component again. To much inconsistency and to much to shave. Much waste!
An much better way! More consistent! Less waste! Minimal to shave! 1/3 the cost! No need for respirator!
100 cans max ($4 x 100 = $400)
6 eznozzles ($8)
You can get cans at box stores and you get a discount for bulk buy so the above number is less!

Wow, is your electric inside the great stuff. Be interesting to see how much more insulated you are.

Where did you find those eznozzles?
Did you consider using the spray foam that is deterrent to mice and pests with a buttering agent in it.

Great stuff makes a pest block. I wasn't sure what was in it and didn't want any bad off gassing.

Curious how that spray foam is for moisture retention and actual insulation qualities.

Enozzles.com shows quite a selection of nozzles. Which one did you get to fit the Great Stuff cans?

Mimi,... remember those Beech Baron and Cessna 210 elevators that had foam inside them..?? and how they retained moisture and corroded the aluminum with pinholes...???
And how the ones stored indoors suffered from disintegrated foam which turned to powder from vibration...?
Hmmmnn. Perhaps fiberglass bats might be better in the long run...?

Sure do, I happen to own one of those 210's. I agree with you about what vibration might do to foam insulation.
However, I'm investigating foam to insulate a well house that is not likely to be subject to much vibration. Once I get my water supply protected for winter, I can get back to my Airstream and the 210.

Eznozzle.com (they only sell one item)
Yep I know the whole vibration argument. Spray foam has come a long way. Closed cell spray foam- like great stuff does not hold water. In the airstream world it seals out the water, meaning it can't get in. I know there is lots of debate on spray foam. I did what I wanted on my camper... And I'm comfortable with product. It was win win for me. As for it all turning to powder in a few years from towing vibration.. We will see. There are plus an minus with everything. This one meet all my needs and requirements😄

Thanks, I found it. My bad. I'd mis-copied the URL you provided and ended up with a company's website that sold all sorts of fancy nozzles and not the one you had. I need to read more carefully, or learn to type, or something.

Think about the competitor Avion foam insulation in their RV. I have a 1966 Avion c-10 truck camper (50 years old) that has been west coast to east coast and who knows where else with original foam
In place and good condition. Did one repair job inside side wall and requiring insulation removal and had to carve it out. They did not use the entire space (wall thickness) but left appx one inch air space.
You may want to consider duplication to their system. Best wishes Bob C.

closed cell foam solidifies and will shake loose from the frame and panels. you may very well get a large amount of condensation that will run down the walls and rot your floor. I would monitor it very closely.
Just went through all these issues in depth regarding a building.

If you clean the skins with acetone, one should not have an issue. I did that and also painted with an aluminum primer with a hitech additive- no issues, great bonding. I also sealed and ran a bead of caulk on all the seams and ribs. I so re-engineered the frame/shell/floor connection. My frame and shell bolt together and the floor is independent. I can remove my floor at anytime without removing the shell. The spray foam in my rebuild for me is the best option for insulation. For other maybe not. I did weigh all the options and this the one I chose. I went with rigid foam board under the floor for insulation. This spray foam technique is an option for those who maybe considering spray foam- mostly those with more time than money😁
