central Florida floor repair

calling all airstreamers. apparently i have a leak causing floor rot in trunk area of my 2007 31' limited. would like to know if anyone is experienced in removing the furniture in the rear to access the floor compartment to do the repair. apparently the "MAIN" solution is to drag it to ohio, which don't get me wrong it would be a nice family trip, looking for an alternative. willing to do the grunt work and nothing better than learning how to fix our little expensive toy. any help appreciated.

Hi, Matthew. I hate to hear you are joining the "Floor Rot Club", but you are in good company. There are a number of threads on this subject on the forum (search "floor rot"). We were affected with our 2007 25' Safari, and opted to have the repair done at Jackson Center. Was a good option for me and we posted our experience. Holler back if you cannot find some good information. Bottom line: not the best experience to go through, but I learned a lot while at JC. Had to find the glass half full if you get my drift. Best regards. Tom

I don't know anything about their service department but Sanders RV in Alachua is an Airstream dealer and I have been very satisfied buying parts from them. They apparently have quite a lot of stock. I needed the three dimensional "Safari" letters for my trailer. They initially said they were no longer available but called me back and told me they had gone through all their old decals and found a set. It appears to be a small family run business. I have also seen good recommendations on here about their sales department.
