Ceiling Fan and Cabinet Molding

I have to replace broken domes on the ceiling fans on my 1976 International. In addition, the forward fan/light combo needs a new fan shroud, and more than likely a new motor....very loud and wobbling. Would I be able to get the domes and shroud, or better off trying to retrofit a newer style fan? The only problem is new fans dont come with a light kit..so Id have to somehow modify. Anybody else have to deal with their fan/vents?

Also, the "t" plastic molding that slips into the grooved edge of all my closets and counters is pulled out and distorted. Anyone know where I can get this product?

Greg,

Do any of the following links look familiar?

switch

Lens

motor

vent dome

Fan Blade

Your motor may be good, and the blade may be chipped and out of balance.

We have all the parts you need, except the "T" molding.

We alsohkave "solar gray" vent covers, that have a thermal barrier and let in far more light than the original white covers, but no more UV.

Gregory,
Another 70's owner here. Couple of suggestions...you can buy replacement parts, or you can upgrade. I am upgrading my vents to a Fantastic Vent over the front living area, then adding a semi recessed Thin Line fluorescent fixture. Center vent is staying stock, but getting the old automotive style bulbs replaced with fluorescents. (it takes some modifications) The rear vent over the bath area is being replaced with a Maxx Fan. I have most of the bits and pieces but haven't had the time to "git er done"
