Can I safely move the Airstream after I pull the interior skins pulled?

Can I safely move the Airstream after I pull the interior skins pulled?

I may need to move it around my driveway at some point and I remember someone saying the interior skin is required to keep the at full strength.

Thoughts?

I think it's fine. I wouldn't want to go on a road trip without the interior skins, but scooting around the driveway would not scare me.

Gutted and with the inner skins off, easy! If your driveway is reasonably level you can move it by hand with two people. At the factory, they move shells from one station to another by having two people lift the front end slightly and pull it. The first time I observed that it was done by two smallish women. They may have had a wheel on the tongue jack though. Don't remember.

I've gone hundreds of miles and camped in mine without interior skins. No problems.

The longer the Airstream, the more likely damage of some sort would occur. Certainly a few feet would have no harm of any kind.

Moving a few feet would cause no harm.

But relevel the shell before reinstalling the interior metal, so that the previous holes will align.
