can I replace an 84' AS couch with a pull-out bed?

Found a good looking 28' AS in good condition, but it has two sofas and no beds. The sofa midships can act as a twin, but the sofa in front is fixed and does not turn into a queen bed, which I would need to fit 3. Can I simply replace the couch with a more modern sofa bed from AS? At what cost? Other options?

Welcome tlwood, you can buy sofa beds from Airstream or even from Camping World (around $800 perhaps?), or Flex Steel and many other RV and marine places. Do a google search for rv sofabeds. Airstream will charge much more than you could purchase it for, if you do it yourself. There have been many here who have done their own conversions. Also try a forums search for information and ideas.
