Cabinet-cubby ideas

I want to build a open cabinet with cubby compartments next to the door for things like a fire extinguisher, flashlights etc.

What items do you find handy to have by the door for access from inside or outside the trailer

I like to have levelling blocks, stabilizer pads, stabilizer crank handle, awning pull handle, and a pair of gloves by the door.

There not enough room for those big things,

The space is 28" high 24" wide the depth I was thinking of about 5"

Okay, scratch the leveling blocks and awning pull. The stabilizer pads are about 6" across and an inch thick.

Mostly - keys, both set too. The ones for the trailer and the keyring for the TV. I agree with the flashlight and I would add a space for one of those butane powered fire starters, in case you're a pyro like me. Always need that thing for the lantern, grill and the campfire.

Good stuff, keep 'em coming.

How about biz (or personal) cards, to hand people you meet.

I though 2 buck came in it's own glass and you just needed the corkscrew.

How about bug spray and sunscreen? We keep those in the cubby by the door and they're very handy for touch-ups.

Seems like we need a 'glove' box for our trailers too.
