bunk beds

we have a 1978 30'argosy,have had it for 4yrs,absolutely love it,but its getting to small for the family,as the 3yr old is to big to sleep with us,were a family of 5,we thought of selling the trailer, even posted it locally, but we have changed our minds.
So,what were looking for is a kit to make bunk beds for the twin center beds,i have seen pics with bunk beds, were they an option on the argosy or can they still be bought?
any help would be great,thks

Our 77 Airstream 31 footer had them over the center twin beds. They hung from two detachable straps mounted to hangers riveted to the ceiling where the ribs intersected. They folded up against the wall when not in use. They had a hinge down the length of mattress. We took them out because we had no kids and did not take along guests.

Picture of what my Argosy is supposed to have. I would also like to find a set, hardware or plans.

I have a set of those bunk beds and all the hardware to mount them, I would sell, but can't imagine how to ship them anywhere.

Mine shipped UPS

By the way I have a bunk for sale cheap. Not OEM. See my post in thread Bambi Bunks by Ranger Jay 10/4/7. Send me a PM if interested.

I had a similar problem in my 76. I took apart the goucho and built a loft from PVC pipe. Then I slipped the guacho back in underneath. I can also take apart the loft and store it in the closet when not in use. It is incredibly sturdy and light as a feather. The loft has support from the pvc frame and then I attach a chain with from the ceiling to offer more support. Perfect for a kid.
