Bathroom sliding door

We have a sliding door in our '85 Excella leading into the bathroom. It's suspended by hangers and slides nicely across the door opening. I tried to hang a full length lightweight mirror on the door. Good idea, except that the door is hollow and it's difficult to get the screws to hold in the thin veneer. The door is pretty thin too so I don't think I can get anchors to hold in it either. I would like to make a new door. Plywood would seem to be the easy answer but it's thicker than 3/4 ply. And that would get pretty heavy too. Any ideas out there on what material would make a good but lightweight door. I still would like to have the mirror hang on it too. Anchors may still be the answer, have to look around to try and find some for a thin application.

What have some of you done for a bathroom door ?????

Roger,

Look for a plastic highly reflective product called Chrome Mylar or equivilent. Film or thin sheet. Very light. GLUE it on.

Have seen it in the big box stores.

You can also think of the mirrored tiles - they also come very thin and with the correct glue would stick for a life time.
