As if pink flamingos weren't corny enough...

...I saw one of those model trailers at the Airstream dealer, and it had a bunch of cool little miniature travel decals on the inside of the door.

Well, I figured they didn't make that up out of thin air, and I thought it would be cool to plaster a bunch of old timey travel stickers on the inside of the door.

Turns out that the real decals are pretty pricey, like $4 to $5 each. But repros are available, and I scored a bunch of copies of cool old ones off EvilBay.

Whatcha all think? Is it too corny for words, or is it not all that much worse than the pink flamingos?

I want one of those scale models and have written to Santa.
Where do you buy scale model pink flamingos?
The travel stickers are a classy touch but pale in comparison to a few dozen pumpkin lanterns strung on your awning.
Or, if youre allowed to use sharp instruments, you could make your own wood tulips. A rusty old Camaro parked next to yer trayler is also a class act.

Try a hobby shop, or a craft supply house like Michael's.

No! I really screwed up my first note, I guess....

I don't have a model, I just saw one at the dealer. I'm talking about putting full-size decals inside the door of my real trailer!

stickers are cool!

We think the stickers are cool too! Yes, we have the required pink flamigos and tiki torches.

Our 8 year old (a trailer nut in his own right) made miniature flamingos and stuff for "his" model A/S.

Don, you understand of course that if you attach a bunch of travel stickers, your Sports Illustrated swimsuit calendar might have to come down?

Rog, the Sarge already addressed that issue... no pun intended!

If Michael's doesn't have them try a cake decorating store...

The life-size ones, not the 1:18 scale ones for the model...
