Exclamation Argosy Emergency (measurements needed quick)

Well an emergency for me anyway. I have no kid's in the house tonight, have all of my extruded aluminum and plywood and am ready to rebuild the floor above my Argosy Blackwater tank...untill i realized I don't have the original because it completely disentigrated when i removed it!

I need measurements for the 'step up" where the toilet and sink basin sits (see attached photo as example). How deep is is supposed to be (from back wall of trailer towards the interior), and how long (side to side) and finally How tall is it?

Some additional questions: Does it go all the way from the tub, under the sink and to the streetside wall? Or does it stop at the sink and then makes a 90 towards the front of the trailer for the storage cabinet?

PLEASE Help!!!! I don't get many opptys. to work without the little ankle biters and if I don';t get some measurements I'm gonna be sitting around twiddling my thumbs tonite. - smiles.

Matt

Yes! Thats it. Any idea if it has a frame underneath and what height is it supposed to be?

42 inches wide. 15 and 3/4 inches deep. 7 and 1/2 inches tall . The recess in the right rear is for a vent pipe. No frame at all. Base attatches to wall behind toilet via the "F" shaped moulding attatched to top and front side of base. You should see a few rivet holes in your back wall indicating the heigth. There were a couple of layers of plywood laid loosley between black tank and the "step up" to spread the load across a larger area. The toilet flange was then wood screwed through all three pieces. The plywood pieces stopped about where the sink cabinet started. Hope this helps. I am in the process of rebuilding mine and look forward to seeing how yours comes out.

Oh man, THANK YOU very much! Here are some pics of what I'm doing with mine...

I built the frame out of 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/8" aluminum angle. The "legs" between the base frame and top frame are 3/4" Aluminum box channel. Melamine goes on top and sides and then I am gluing the leftover engineered hardwood flooring (from the rest of my trailer project) to the top of that. I measured the thickness of the flooring/melamine and its good with the toilet flange. I really appreciate the measurements. I was a little off on mine. I am building the frame to take some pressure off of the tank as I'm going with a china toilet.

It's done...except for the hole for the closet flange. Will dry fit everything today, measure twice and cut the hole and mount it up. Presto!
