Arrow Architect's Airstream - Total Redo

I purchased this airstream about 8 months ago and have been remodeling ever since. Now that I'm well underway, I thought that I might share the experience with you. A little background, I'm a 27 year old Architect in Santa Barbara, CA.

I've started a blog that will be documenting the process, you can see it here: An Architect's Airstream

Here's a few before and after Pic's...

Nice to see a talented architect clean up the original design on this. Looks very nice. Are you able to maintain original weight and balance with these materials?

HD,

I'm on my new iPad so don't yet know how to send you a link to my 1976 Argosy " Contemporizing" thread.

Try to look it up. You'll see that we share admiration for the AIRSTREAM'S iconic shape and the basic layout but want to restate it our way.

Beautiful looking. Well done.

Beautiful! I'm interested in how you tiled the bathroom. I would be worried about the mortar and grout getting cracked out if you travel - or did you do something different?

Me too.

I like the look, but masonry doesn't respond well to movement. What did you use?
