Perhaps you should consider an SOB to dry dock. It used to be you could find the really long Airstreams for cheap but not so much any more. Here are some cheaper project campers.

Good luck,

There's a restaurant here in Austin (Shady Grove), that has a 34 footer that is the men's & women's bathrooms (separate, of course). Now... there's the thing of an Airstream being used in such a fashion, almost sacrilegious... however, the interiors are done very nicely with all the amenities and from the outside, it looks simply marvelous! Solid and infinitely cooler for an outdoor venue (really jazzes it up!!). Floors are linoleum-ish and feel very solid - sure they're braced. Deck surrounds it hiding the supports (skirting).

Great idea for a cabana! Don't forget the flamingos & palm trees (artificial...).

A shed would be cheaper......

Trailers are meant to be light, and you can move them but.....You can insulate and modify a shed cheaper and easier with conventional materials.
I nice red barn type shed might be more pleasing to the eye than an old grey trailer. Our zoning laws would prohibit using a trailer permanantly because
we are not allowed to store trailers, only park them.

Someone at work just asked me the same question recently. Looks like one of their neighbors was interested in doing this.
Computers manufactured by companies such as IBM, Compaq and millions of others are by far the most popular with about 70 million machines in use worldwide. Macintosh fans note that cockroaches are far more numerous than humans and that numbers alone do not denote a higher life form. -NY Times 11/91

Back Yard Bambi

Though we wouldn't want it to be its permanent home because it's an '06 and we love towing it around and seeing new parts of the land...we have a nicely landscaped back yard with a couple of patios and a ramada...lots of desrt vegetation, etc and even a nice big old orage tree....we have thought of knocking out the back wall of our back yard, putting in a new wood fence with a gate in it and using our back yard as a place to store the Bambi when we aren't towing it...incorporating it into the know...a sort of back yard retreat...I can see it now. (But before we could do othat, we'd need to get on the city to celan up the alley enough that I won't hit overhanging trees, etc getting it back there!) We might have to put in a pool if we do that, though, so I'd better think about this carefully before we do it!

Happy Trails....TB
