Adding shirt closets?

Has anyone added shirt (Half) closets over mid twins? I see them from the factory occasionally, and wondered what would be involved in adding a set? Any other clever ideas for increasing the clothes hanging space in mid twin models? The mid double appears to have ample closets, but doesn't work for me. Thanks!

Hello, Stephen!

Exactly what trailer do you have? Many mid-twins have full-length clothes closets beteen the sleeping quarters and bathroom.

You could put your model information into your profile, then everyone would be able to see what it is you have, by the way.

Actually I'm still shopping. I'm actively looking at mid-late 70's, 28-29' first choice, 27' close second choice and Sovereign third choice. Rear twins or doubles seem scarce, hence I'm considering mid twins. The lack of closet space in all mid twins really concerns me. I'm ultimately seeking a coach to snowbird in so closet space is higher up my list than if I were traveling only.

I have a (current production) rear twin that has a shirt closet about 12" wide over the foot of each bed. There is just enough clearance between the bed and the closet for the sleeper's feet.

Well, the longer the TT, the bigger the closet space. I wonder if you have actually looked at the Sovereigns in your area.

There are generally lots of them for sale, and you get the most closet space available, other than a 34-footer.

The rear bedroom models have one large closet opposite the bathroom. Not sure how they relate in total storage space to the mid twins, but you sure do get a tiny bathroom in them...
