'73 tradewind gaucho slides question, help!

Ok, I'm getting my front gaucho redone, new foam and material. I am changing out the old wood base for new. When I removed the bottom wood base I could see two plastic slides, dettached from the pull out stringers. I can't seem to figure out what way they go? On the edge of the base there is four of these slides screwed to the bottom (top of the under bed storage) facing up. like a "u" . The outside stringers have the other two sliders in the track, they seem to be mounted on the stringers, I see a hole for the screw. When you attach them like an "n" they slide in, you can screw back the front slides. But the bed seems to be held up, just by the two slides on the stringer? If you put the two slides on like a "u" I don't see how you can attach the front two slides. To see what I mean, you would have to have had your's apart. Anyone help without me posting pics? MPJ

I believe they screw into the bottom of the seat frame and act as a stop against the front frame, to keep the seat portion from sliding. Maybe someone can explain this more clearly. Sal.

figured it out

The slides go in like a "u". I then had to remove the front face of the gaucho to get the slides in and screwed down.
