Does anyone have a source for these channels? I would like to replace with a non-anodized (plain aluminum color) version. Alternatively, I suppose I could sand off the anodizing, but have my doubts how good that would turn out looking.
You can make your own "stringers" as they are called, using .032 or .040 2024T3 aluminum.
A word of caution, do not make the bends a sharp 90 degrees, simply make the bends with a little larger radius in the corners.
