Hi folks...
First time poster here. I must say I am thrilled to find this group of people. This really looks to be a wonderful community and I am sure I'll be asking a lot more questions before I am done with this new project. I've already spent HOURS surfing threads and photos. It's a great site.
Anyway, I just recently aquired a
1965 Globetrotter and have been trying to get it back in shape to use this fall. In the nose where the couch/pull out bed is, there is supposed to be a shelf that runs along the front wall for the back rest to lean against. (I think) Anyway, this was missing when I bought the trailer and I have no idea what deminsions it is supposed to be (height, width, depth, etc), nor do I know what it is supposed to consist of or how it works. I have searched tons of photos onthe web, but can never find a good picture that shows any detail of it's construction.
Can someone please help me out with some pics and info? I don't know how far out from the wall it is supposed to come, how it mounts, if it is just a simple shelf like the side shelves are, or if it folds, comes apart, etc. Some detailed pics and measurements would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to get this thing done for a trip on the 19th of September and this is one of the things on the list that I do not know how to tackle. Thanks again!
Doug
