1972 Tradewind interior

Hello members,

Newbie here. I purchased a gutted 1972 Tradewind last year and finally am able to start w/ the remodel. I'm am not planning on an original interior.

I was originally planning to put in a rear bedroom and a wet bath on the roadside but the location of the midship windows really makes that difficult. I think am going to go back to the original rear bath and center bunk(s) w/ maybe an overhead bunk (possibly removable). My questions are, do the manuals have any kind of original dimensions of the interior? If so, best place to purchase a manual? I need to pick up a manual for electrical, plumbing info anyway.
If not does any one out there have that info they could share, size of bath, placement of bulkheads, etc...
Any info would be helpful and any suggestion of different layouts would be more than welcome.

thank you in advance

The service manual is very detailed and is still available for your trailer.

If you could find a 72 Airstream sales brochure they have some great pics of floor plans. Keep an eye on ebay. They do come up once in a while.

Thanks Berickn,

I do not have any of the interior, which I'm ok with, I just really need to know the distances from back of trailer to the bathroom bulkhead and from that bulkhead to the next, which will give me the bed lengths. Not sure what the standard is and even though I will be constructing new beds I would hope to use a standard mattress. Any pics, dimensions or rough sketches you could giveme would be great.

thnaks you

Thanks richard, I will probably order a manual today.

You may be able to find the original bulkhead locations from the empty pop-rivet holes in the interior skin, but if you're going to re-build the interior to your own needs and specs anyway then you can just put more pop-rivets(probably white) in the holes to plug them.
