1971 Bathroom Mirror Bottom Latch and Stay Replacement

Does anyone know where to get a replacement bathroom mirror latch and the interior stay mechanism for a 1971 Overlander? The plastic bit at the bottom is broken, so that it doesn't stay closed (it just floats), and once you do open it (it's on a piano hinge from the top) there's nothing to keep it from slamming down -- that's broken as well.

Thanks

I don't have the latch. Do you still have the the tensioning portion of the stay in place - inside on the cabinet side? The lift shaft that attaches to the back of the mirror (same as the one that holds up the bumper lid) I have a bunch of.

On second thought - here's the entire lift assembly.

Inside cabnet door support 31-8994 [06111] - $2.79 : Out-of-Doors Mart!, More Airstream Parts on-line than anyone!

Thanks -- does anyone have a photo of what the latch originally looked like, all I have is a little plastic bit with two rivets -- maybe I could fashion one out of a little piece of metal or something. As far as the lift is concerned, I have bookmarked it -- that is exactly what I was looking for.

Shawn - see here - I believe this is the original. You might check with Inland RV and see if they still have it available.

Mirror latch Bathroom 1969 -74 381075 [381075] - $8.95 : Out-of-Doors Mart!, More Airstream Parts on-line than anyone!
