Hello everyone, this will be the first time I post here. I have read up lots of threads on redoing the interior of airstreams and so we have gotten lots of ideas. We, my husband and I, have been working on our
1963 Dimples, that's her name. We bought her in Aug. 2013 and started working on her in April 2014. I would like to post some pictures and maybe someone else can use them as ideas for their airstream.
This picture shows Dimple from day 1 to when she got polished.
This one shows where the original dinette was. When we 1st got Dimples we took the small dinette out and made a gaucho, hoping our daughters would go camping. After a year of them not going we decided to take out the gaucho bring back the Dinette.
We had the cabinets redone
My husband and I redid the floors, first time ever.
In May 2014 we had the dinette done, but we never used it because we always left the bed done. So that's when we decided to make the small dinette and leave the bed the way it is.

And this is Dimples, oh if you are wondering why we named her Dimples, well as you can see she went thru a hail storm before we got her and that is why her name is Dimples.
