Vacuum cleaner recommendation

Does anyone have any good recommendations for vacuum cleaner s to use in our 2015 Flying Cloud while we are on the road? Obviously small is good. Corded or cordless? Specific brands & models?

We use a small Dyson, with its wall mount on the partition under the bedroom tv, plugged into the other receptacle opening for recharging. Works well, travels well, always handy, and always charged (except when boon docking on solar power). High quality dependable unit, don't need its accessories in the Airstream.

We carry an old Dirt Devil corded portable. Runs fine on the inverter when we are boondocking

OK, I know this is not a vac, but, the small hand vac Black & Decker CHV1408 DustBuster 14.4V is mounted on the right side of the table frame, plugged into the power block which itself is mounted on the top edge of the remounted subwoofer (up on its wide side) underneath the dinette bench, so the power to the Espresso maker, coffee grinder, and vac can be turned off when not needed.

I use the vac for various dirt, dust, but primarily to clean up the coffee grounds, know to those who make espresso.... It does a very nice job, can get under the areas I cannot easily sweep. Most often I use a broom, mounted on the bathroom wall.

For a trip of a week or so, we take our Dyson V-6 without the charge. It's got sufficient battery life to last long enough to clean the trailer at least twice.

I use this little Stanley one gallon to keep the trailer and tow vehicle clean. Powerful, small, lightweight, packs away easily

We have a Miele stick vacuum that is incredibly powerful and fits in the closet/wardrobe easily. I gave up on cordless a long time ago as they lack power and lifespan.

My Hoover 18 volt that I purchased in Walmart is great. For small jobs i have a B&D hand held. The Hoover fits easily in my hanging closet.

Dyson rechargable. Somewhat expensive but works well. Take it home to the house when not using the trailer. Has been the go to house vacuum for small jobs and stairs.

Recently bought the Dyson V6 Absolute (used to use a small Black and Decker in the trailer) and it is amazing! Took it with us on a trip to Destin, FL, and sand in the trailer was no longer an issue. The fluffy head is great on the vinyl floors and picks up everything. When not in use, I placed it in one of the gaps between our bed and the nightstand, so it was never in the way. I loved being able to just easily vacuum at any moment, without having to bend down to push a small hand vac close to the ground.

I use a broom when OTR but Dyson it out when I get back. The broom, as boring as it is, is light, doesn't need power and is 98% effective.

The vacuum is super compact (it folds up) and came with a bag that contains it and all it's extensions. Storage under the gloucho is a breeze with this thing. 12v with a 20ft cord.

We have an older version of a small Dyson Ball Multi-Floor canister vacuum. It works really well for us. Pricy, but a well-built effective vacuum cleaner. We store it in the trailer closet.

I like to boondock, so I have a nice burr-type hand grinder and a Benjamin & Medlin stove-top cappuccino maker. I can make you a dynamite latte in the middle of the Sonora Desert without the need for any electricity.

makita cordless vacuum is the best setup. same battery to operate impact tool for stabilizer jacks and drill.

+1 on the dyson... wife loves it, best vacuum we've ever owned. Period.

Who needs a vacuum when you have dogs? Spilled potato chips, popcorn, etc.etc. Open the door, and immediately they go to work. Kids with food on their face...no problem, send in the clean-up crew. They are the best 4 footed wet vacs around. Kidding aside...a dirt devil.
