If you will scroll down to the Tow Vehicles subforum,

Tow Vehicles - Airstream Forums

find the "Search this Forum" button (at the right of the blue bar, under the list of page numbers) and type in "Dakota", you will turn up a whole bunch of threads about towing with various years and configurations of Dakotas.
