It is late but a lot of jobs, especially "visitor use assistant" positions at entrance stations, went unfilled . They pay about $15 an hour, many are in remote places and housing is often, well, a challenge. Last year, a friend of mine at a major park worked all summer with two positions empty--it meant the rest of the crew got crunched so few returned this year.
