1999 Airstream Safari for Family of 3 Full Time RVing?
Hello Everyone!
I am Jam and new to the world of Airstreams! Very happy to be here. My husband and I have decided to sell most of what we own and live on the road full time with our 2.5 year old son! We have been doing our research and recently came across a 1999 Airstream Safari that is for sale near us. We live in Miami, FL so finding something close to us isn't very easy.
We went to see the 25' Safari over the weekend. Back window needs to be replaced and the carpet was ripped out by the current owners but not completely. We would have to put some work into it. I have read that the models after 1995 had some issues with their windows and I'm not sure if this is the right fit for us. I would love someone's input on the 1999 Safari!
We aren't scared of doing repairs or fixing things up but I want to make sure we are getting a good deal. Current owner is asking $18,500
Does anyone have any advice? Thank you in advance! It's greatly appreciated!
