I have never sucked or blown my lines - being in the great white north - the key element is of course AF. So I get as much water drained out via gravity. Drain the fresh water tank completely. Drain Grey and Black. Drain HWT and leave the drain out and pop a small screen with elastic over the hole to stop the insects. I then run my water pump on each faucet and toilet spray and foot pedal flush till lots of air comes through and no spitting. I then put in 2.5 - 3 jugs of AF in the fresh tank and pump through all my lines and faucets, including the toilet spray and foot flush. I run till all is dark pink! If I loose pressure I have to add more AF - (None toxic and much less than replacing frozen valves and cylinders in the faucets.) I drop in a couple of cups in all tanks and down the P-traps. She is good to go.
I have had a few brain-farts - like not paying attention to the weather and not winterizing in time. Or forgetting to flush the pink through the pedal flush last year - that has me still having to replace the toilet valve - procrastinator that I am ha ha.
So I don't forget from year to year, I have taken snapshots of various tasks and then writing out the instructions. So here is my take on how to winterize the 2016 Classic.
Hope it helps.
Dave
