Hi jvandal--If PO used a lot of well water in the fresh water tank, you might just have mud, and possibly mold from un treated water in the drain, which IMO is to small in diameter to drain adequately.--Frank S

Could someone describe the "exact" position of the bypass knobs when in BYPASS mode?

I am heading south and will be winterizing for the first time prior to returning. The manual says reverse knobs to bypass mode?

Currently the silver oval knobs are parrallel with the plastic tubing. I was told this is the "summer" run position.

When blowing out all the water, do the bypass knobs stay in the summer / run position - parrallel to the line?

THEN....

When all water is expelled from the lines, turn the knobs to the "bypass" mode.

Which I would believe means the knobs would be up/down forming a cross to the water line? All three (3) correct?

And then follow all the info of introducing the antifreeze at the pump location.

A clarifications on this would be very helpful...All three (3) knobs would be turned to an up and down/ cross position relative to the water line.

Thanks in advance.
