Winterizing First Timer
Winterizing a 16 foot Bambi for the first time... newbies. I've removed the obvious stuff like food and personal care products.... but can I leave linens, dishes and such in the trailer over the winter?

We do. No food or paper products - don't want mice. I bring in my sewing machine, but the Keurig stays out there.

We leave kitchen ware, pots, pans, dishes, tools, etc. stored in the cabinets.
Most bedding (other than the mattress and waterproof cover), towels, clothing, get washed using non fragrant detergent after the last use, then folded and stored inside the trailer.
Foods, soaps, liquids, toilet paper, paper towels (anything that could be food or bedding for mice) comes inside.

I turn our twin mattresses on edge to allow good airflow around them.

For those that don't bring in linens, are you not worried about mice using those for bedding?

I've seen no "evidence" of bedding in the bedding ;-). We keep the bath and bed items in the upper storage cabinets.
Could be no "evidence" because we us those electronic pest chasers while in storage with hookups.
I brought home a pair of mice from a camping trip this summer. They had a party inside the trailer the two nights they were along. Kept me awake!
They left plenty of evidence throughout the trailer before I evicted them (DOA) into the woods.

Only once, in a SOB trailer we owned, did we have mice in the bedding and towels. I had to wash EVERYTHING in the spring (and I mean EVERYTHING). Once we figured out how they got in through the power cord opening, we sealed it up, and no more mice. We leave bedding, towels, blankets, etc. in the trailer stored in the cabinets. Haven't had any mice since we finished our reno. We also leave dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. out there.
Our mice seem to be well-fed by the bird feeders, and haven't bothered the trailer.
