Where does your baby sleep at night?
Maybe you park your airstream alongside your house with some tricky maneuvering or maybe it sits coastside. Could be that it sleeps in a climate controlled garage and ready at a moments notice. Im sure some of you have come up with some pretty creative locations when not in use and that might just be the local storage facility in your hometown. Wherever you park your camping buddy it might be fun for the rest of us to get some ideas..
Cheers Vinnie

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle
When she's at home, Our girl, Lucy, sleeps tucked in behind our house. She has full 5 point hook-ups there. The back of our house is on an alley with a four car garage attached to the back of our house. The driveway is four cars wide, making it relatively easy to get Lucy tucked in.

I have a 10' gate beside the house, I pull the trailer out behind the house where she stays outside in the elements...wish I had a barn.

Hello,
No pics of the "sleeping quarters"... but ours stays in the garage in winter. Then during travel season she is often parked in front of the garage gettin' ready to go somewhere!

Brian,
Thats a nice easy setup. Looks like Lucy is pretty much ready to roll!

CaddyGrn,
I recently saw a garage that contained an SOB but boy was I jealous.. Had a drain in the center so you could wash her right there, a full workshop and lots of room to walk around the trailer. You could pull through the garage so you didnt even have to back in.. how nice is that!

We keep our AS in a completely enclosed garage which is behind a locked gate. The owner rents most of the space to his employer for storing/maintaining heavy equipment. We and a friend share a space with the owner's classic cars. Cost $125 per month which seems reasonable around here.

We're lucky enough to be able to keep our baby right alongside a garage and with full hookups. It certainly makes life enjoyable when preparing for travel or for overflow guests as a guest house.

That sure makes it nice when preparing for a trip to be able to bounce back and forth from the house when restocking. Also nice to know that she's right outside

After waiting a full month on what was supposed to be a 10 day order, our cover was installed today! 24 x 36 x 10 high walls.
Now we will try to get a seperate meter base installed so we have plenty of amps available for AC and Heat!

I love seeing old threads come back to life. I currently park her next to the house out in the elements. But I have a feeling that the city code enforcement may make me move her. I moved my fence out 3.5 feet and encroached on the easement. Oh well, I'll just let it be till I get a ticket.

Next to the house and tucked next to the detached garage on a slab extension I added to the driveway. She has plenty of dedicated power with an RV plug box and a fresh water connection within easy reach. Plus, all my tools are right there to take good care of her. Plenty of inside the garage storage for all the STUFF we take along on trips.
Septic is on the other side of the house - only issue I have - working that now............
