We have 8 acres and have plenty of space to park the Westy. It generally sits next to our garage either on the driveway or beside the driveway. We are working on plans for a new out building large enough for the Westy, our Kabota tractor and the 1963 Bambi we are trying to get a local farmer to sell us.

We also have our own personal dump station. We go chemical free so we use the sewer clean out for our pool house drain field. Very convenient.

When we had our 28' CCD we would sometimes park it behind our pool house. I preferred close to the driveway because it was such a beautiful rig. I hated hiding it away. We couldn't maneuver it to our home dump station though. But we have two rest areas with dump stations less than 8 miles from our home.

We can't wait to get our building done. We always live in fear of hail.

If you can find a way t put a receiver hitch on the front of a vehicle ( Jeep? Tractor? Old pickup truck? New pickup truck?) you won't believe how easy it is to maneuver a trailer when you are pushing it with the front of a vehicle. You can park it anywhere you like.

Here's my drive through AS storage. I do have a front receiver hitch, however, it's easier to drive through and turn around and come back in.

Looking at storing her closer to the beach - 2 hours away but more mild winter weather and all year on a paved flat surface vice angled dirt...

Our barn on our farm is 40x100. It has living quarters, dog kennels, double garage, and the garage for the AS. We have a place to empty black and gray tanks and electric. It's perfect!

We have thought about just a setup for retirement. No house, per se, just maybe 1600 SF finished in a metal building like yours. Do you live in the living quarters, or is it guest quarters?

We live there, still have city home too but training 6 dogs is hard in the city. Our living quarters has living, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, laundry and decent storage in about 1200 s.f. Not to hijack this thread but we really like our little cabin in SW Missouri in Amish Country!

YES....and it's done nothing for the breed, (how prophetic).

The PWDCA has done an heroic job bringing back an almost extinct breed and now the demand has caused a puppy mill mentality. Happens to most celebrity breeds.

They even stole our first PWD's name.
