Storage with Power?

I have a 2017 25RB and I am curious what folks do for power on during storage.

Airstream is stored inside with conditioned air, 50 amp available and 20 amp plugs for battery tenders if that's the way to go...

What do you all recommend?
Battery switch in which position?
Plugged into 50 amp with refer off or on?
battery switch in what position and use a battery tender?
(if using a battery tender on stock dual batteries. how is best to hook up positive and negative? both on one battery or does it matter.)

Any help would be most appreciated

Thanks!

Unless you are certain you have a multi-stage charger, I'd go with a battery tender and leave use/store switch in 'store'.

The battery tender can handle the parasitic loads. Do check your battery water level at regular intervals.

Best way with two parallel 12 volt batteries is to connect to one terminal of each battery to even out the (very minor) losses in the interconnecting cables.

This is what I would do in covered storage. My rig has enough solar and a good controller, so I leave the DC stuff on so my fans will run if the AS gets too hot. I do check the water in the batteries regularly... (thanks for reminding me)

My storage yard has 30 amp power, but so far I've put the switch in store and unplugged when I left.
Future plans to add a Battery tender to the system, and a "disconnect" to the battery bank output.

I concur. The battery tender plugged into external power outside the AS and leaving the rest of the 110 volt AC stuff in the AS disconnected removes one more source of potential fire whilst in storage...
