Question Should I drain systems again?

Since we were going to have several nice days in a row I thought we could de-winterize the AS and head out on our first trip. The weather was supposed to be no lower than the low 40s but now it's calling for tonight to be 29. It's currently raining and 43, temp is slowly falling.

I really don't want to drain everything again, although the holding tanks and fresh water tank are drained. (I sanitized the fresh water tank and drained it again but there is water in the lines and drains.)

I have it hooked up to 20 amp service right now to cool the fridge. I think it'll be OK if I put a space heater on the floor and leave all the storage doors open.

Thoughts?

There won't be any problem, leave your cabinet doors open. The temp. has to get down and stay there for quite a while. You would probably be ok with out the space heater, but since you have it use it

Rich,
We have nearly the same set up. With 20 A power from the house, we set the furnace at 50 deg. for the night to keep things warmed up, especially down below the floor. We leave the cabinet doors open and the hot water heater on electric, too. Seems to work, and uses so little propane we are happy. Your smaller rig should be easy to keep warm for small drops below 32.

Thanks, Rick and Greg. There were no problems, the temp actually only dropped to 33 that night but I had the space heater on anyway. We too our first overnight trip this week, two days in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We had a great time and everything worked. Well, almost everything. There were 4 dump stations and of course I had to pick the broken one for my first ever dump. I thought I had done something wrong. I moved to another one and there were no problems. Lady at the gate said "oh, is it blocked again?". Great, so you know there's a problem.

Anyhow, thanks for the reply. I appreciate the help.

Good deal, Rich. Isn't this just a blast? And now you have a campfire story about a dump station, too! Hope to see you on the road.
