Define short term. I think you would be fine to plug it up and forget it. If no shore power then turn batts to store and you should be good.

Hi
Solar? Solar with sun? That pretty well takes care of the batteries.

Put it away clean and dry.
We like to empty all tanks and open and drain low point drains.
Keep refrigerator doors ajar.
Double check that the tv antenna is powered off, the pump and water heater are off, propane off.
Set battery to store unless you have solar.
Check that stove vent, bathroom vents, fantastic fans all closed.
Check that all awning hooks are secured.
We also use a few buckets of damp rid to help with humidity
Close the blinds to keep out the sun and lock the door.

Short term storage procedure
first if it is in freezing climate, winterize by pumping rv antifreeze thru all systems that have water in them.
drain all tanks
don't forget to bypass the water filter before winterization
wash
park inside a storage building out of the weather, take all the food out as it will draw mice
put "Cab Fresh" to keep the mice out...
I store mine in a " Earl Mumma perfect mouse protection" systems inside my Morton building!
I leave mine plugged into electric.
Good Luck
Earl
PS open all low point drains prior to filling water system with antifreeze, I then add rv antifreeze to the freshwater tank and pump it thru the demand pump, winterize the toilet and the inside and outside shower
Rv antifreeze in all sink and shower drains.

Or use an air compressor and fitting to blow out the lines of all the water.
Put anti-freeze into the 'P' traps of the sinks.
Use about 35 PSI or so. Do not exceed the system's pressure rating. (65?)
That's what CanAm does. It works.

Good notes. We are into our 5th trip and I do all the things you have noted. Thanks.

What kind of time span do you mean by "short term storage?"
Also your owner's manual has guidance on this, as well as on many other topics which should be studied before you use the trailer again.
"An ounce of prevention, . . . "
Cheers,
Peter
