Sheltered life....

This past summer I upgraded to a bigger Airstream.....it had spent it's prior years under a cover.

I didn't have a straight shot backing in so I opted to go a little wider than I actually needed (16ft)

You are lucky to be able to store that lovely rig at home where you can see it every day!

One of these days I will have a nice setup like that.
I have thought about making it at an angle like the campground to make it easier to back in.
How tall is the shed? How long are the legs?

10 foot legs....I could put a pup tent on the roof.

8 feet would've been plenty. I upgraded from 14 to a 12 ga. frame.

One good thing is.....if I need to work on the roof I can probably hang a walk board from the frame.

That's really great. I wish I had that kind of space at home.

Sheltered

Thanks for posting this complete with pictures. I originally looked at the vehicle covers but wasn't enthused about having to put it on and take it off each time I went to play with my camper. I'm now trying to decide which type of "carport" to use, the all metal or one with canvas over metal frame. Seems like all the canvas ones I've seen eventually look very raggedy, while the metal sheets always look neat and trim.
Have you seen how it handles in high winds and do you have it anchored to the concrete slab?
Thanks again for posting this!

It's bolted to the concrete and rated for 130 mph winds.

It's 16' wide by 26' long with 10 ft legs. Cost with the 12 ga. frame upgrade, extra bracing and 2 extra side panels was about $1800.00 installed.

What I meant was they told me they were coming on a certain day...called late that afternoon and told me it would be two weeks later. Took a total of about 6 or 7 weeks from the day I ordered it.
